Annual Book Fair starts at
NUML. Accordingly to the Press Release, NUML (National
University of Modern Languages) has organized an Annual Book Fair 2015 of 2 days to for enhancing the tradition
of books’ reading among the students.
The NORIC (NUML Office of Research, Innovations
and Commercialization) was organized this annual book fair. In which an extensive range f
books were displayed by almost 16 book publishers in contract with the topics
relates to Mass Communication, Linguistics, Islamic Studies, Management
Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology, Literature, International
Relations, History, Economics, Corporate Social Responsibility including interpretation as well as translation.
The ceremony of the annual book fair was
inaugurated by Dr. G. Raza Bhatti who is the Executive Director of Higher Education
Commission together with Major General (R) Zia-ud-Din who is the Current Principal of NUML both were also participated asChief Guests.
Also together with General Brigadier (R) Azam Jamal who is
Director of NUML (National University of Modern Languages), the Directors, the
Registrar and the other remained staff were been the part of this opening
ceremony.
It was stated by the Executive Director of Higher
Education Commission namely Raza Bhatti when he was being addressed on the event that there was not
at all any outstanding gratification rather in the free time reading the books.
The technology of this era has made very easy
and reliable for the users to get access to e-books (Electronic Books) according to their interests however the
hard copy was mysterious of books.
Zia-ud-Din Najam, The Principal
of NUML (National University of Modern Languages)in contract with the event when he was being
shared his views forth with addressees said that it is the second NUML (National University
of Modern Languages)’s annual
book fair.
The objective of NUML (National University of
Modern Languages) is to bring back
students in libraries instead of it that they are wasting their precious time
on cell phones and also on remained other advance gadgets of today.
It was also further added by him that NUML (National University of
Modern Languages) is not at all
comparable of these advance devices while it must know that the negative use of
them is being badly destroyed the habit of reading in free time.
It was at last further added by him that the library culture will
once again raised by these kind of book fairs which can play a vital role and
inside of our University why we are dedicated to get book reading culture.
